Novell Notes


This disk contains the print device file (HPLJ4Si.PDF) to be used 
when printing with a Novell NetWare 286 network (version 2.12 
or greater) and a NetWare 386 network (version 3.1 or greater) 
on a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4Si/4Si MX printer.

If you need specific information on how to configure your 
network, please refer to the Novell NetWare Networks chapter 
found in the HP LaserJet 4Si/4Si MX printer Network Notes manual.

This print device is intended for system supervisors and network 
administrators.  Some familiarity with using the Novell NetWare 
utilities PRINTDEF and PRINTCON is recommended.

Hewlett-Packard recommends using the HPLJ4Si.PDF found on 
this disk as the print device.  Other print devices may be used, 
but you would not be able to utilize all of the Hewlett-Packard 
LaserJet 4Si/4Si MX printer features, such as language switching.
